Walkies at Lyde (Day 2072)

It snowed a bit overnight, and my attempt to get the car to the carpark on the hill for the morning woofer walk this morning failed, and I had to reverse down to the bottom of the track and abandon the car there. The dogs didn't mind, as it meant far more time to charge around in the snow.
It seemed the sensible option to head to Stromness later in the truck, but I only switched into four wheel drive once. At the yard, I cleared the snow off the hard standing while my beautiful wife organised hay nets and buckets of feed for the horses. All plans for riding today were shelved, it just wasn't weather for it today. Lunch out at the café at the pier then home to collect the woofers for a wander at Lyde in the snow.
