Springs

We had planned a visit to Springs before Cyclone Eloise was announced so headed out their a bit earlier in the hope of missing the wild weather forecast.

After being pleasantly surprised at how reasonably well the whole cemetery had been looked after we did some tidy up of Granny Arnott’s are before the rain arrived.

A soggy drive home didn’t deter Shiv from sticking her head out the window so she enjoyed the outing too.

Home before the wind started to cause mayhem with trees down and debris blown everywhere. I hate to think what it’s like further north. Although the cyclone has been downgraded to a tropical storm, Mozambique has been hit hard. In Limpopo there are reports of serious flooding and destruction to property. Some of the bushveld camps in the Kruger have been evacuated.
