Draped in history

Had a really great work event tonight, focusing on our organisation's Sumatran tiger projects. A subject I know a lot about so I had verbal diarrhoea when talking to some supporters.

There was a moving tiger video from a colleague, Debbie, in Sumatra. Seen it 3 times now. Cried 3 times.

The venue was Drapers Hall in the heart of the city. Although it's a little grandiose for me I am always amazed what hugely historic and impressive buildings are hidden away behind the most unprepossessing entrances. In the room with this chandelier the carpet was so valuable that there was a sign up saying that you couldn't go in if you were carrying a drink that wasn't white.
