2017-12-02 (Day 336) Torwood Castle

This ruined castle was built around 1566 and was the seat of Clan Forrester. The castle has been in ruins for many years, but is apparently now being gradually renovated by the Torwood Castle Trust.

Cameron and I came across it today while taking Tess out for a walk, where we also visited Torwood Broch - a nearby iron-age fortification
