2017-12-03 (Day 337) Stirling Castle and The King
Ah well, sometimes you have to make do with the camera you've got with you...
This is a view pretty much north-west across the King's Knot , with Stirling Castle towering over it on the right hand side of the picture.
The King's Knot has been around since at least 1633, when it was "remodelled" for the hamecoming of Charle's I. Over the years it fell into disprepair, but was restored by order of Queen Victoris in 1842.
