Burns Night

We live in the heart of neep country but could we find one for Burns night? Nope, nae neeps. Hattoncrook, Coop, Asda, it was neepnageddon. So pizza it was. The Veggie haggis has been put on standby.

Here's Dave dwarfed by some of his mahoosive graphic novel collection. I'd annoyed him by asking him to relocate them from their toe stubbing piles beside my bed to the bookcase downstairs. And to make matters worse for him I was watching Eddi Reader singing Burns on the BBC Scotland channel....which he admirably coped with while i fan girrrled over Eddi's voice. He was more at home later when Mark Kermode's cult movie talk through came on, closely followed by movie soundtrack classics. It was the most TV we've half watched in the background for months.
