Poser
Monday was a fine, sunny, dry and cold day with a lot of frost on the ground. Morning chores done, I decided to combine two of my 'standard' walks into one - walking first to and then through Bonnyfield Nature Reserve (extra 1), emerging at Bonnybridge from where I walked up to the Canal and made my way westwards from there (extra 2). However, rather than turn for home at Underwood Lock, I continued my walk along the Canal to Haggs and walked up to the main road from there.
That's where I spotted several chaffinches in the trees, one of which obligingly stayed in a slightly exposed place for a few moments, allowing me to take several photos and provide my main Blip for the day.
