LD 309 Early and Late

I was in my study at 7.00 this morning and was  still there at 7.30 this evening.    The first task was to finish a "Toast to Scotland" that I had to record for not one, but two,  Burns Suppers and the last was to speak at a Burns  themed Scottish Government organised distanced  whisky tasting for EU Ambassadors. 

In between there were back to back meetings and preparations for Parliamentary questions, debates and committees in the next forty eight hours. 

I suppose I could ask people to guess at which end of this long  day the picture looking down to the house  was taken, but the fact that the snow was still on the ground gives it away, because rain has now set in.
