A good try out

I remember an analysis of my posts in this journal some years ago revealed that I write about weather more than most other blippers.

I admit I am fascinated by weather data and observation, and this new sensor, a Christmas present, is now up and working and having a good first try out in the current rain (11.00 mm so far today).

My  old weather station  (cobbled together from a variety of sources) began to fail towards the end of last year and eventually gave up the ghost.   Not a surprise I suppose having been exposed to the elements for well over a decade.   It will be interesting to see how this one fares.
