Glorious Day
Very little wind, bright sun and -9°C; it's the perfect day for skiing. We headed down the hill and skied off across the lake. In the sun it felt warm enough to keep my jacket open but as we skied into the shade the temperature really seemed to drop. Fortunately the sun shone for most of our trip.
I think Jan was taking her Blip at the same time I was taking this picture, which is taken on the way home as we ski between two sections of lake.
Because of the flow of water it hardly ever freezes right over here, and because of that, beavers have built a large lodge on the other side of the water - see here.
Before we went out skiing Jan was drawing one of the ex-tulips.
