Foggy

A still, quiet, monochromatic day that almost makes me forget there's a whole world out there. We walked up the hill at the end of the afternoon and couldn't see much beyond the fence at the top. There were remnants of ice and snow around; we did have some frozen rain last night and a 2-hour school delay this morning. (Online school being delayed because of the weather...some things are better left unexplained.)

Extra: Birdie TV. Those are Felix's ears in the corner. He watches through the window as I set out the feeders and a dish every day.

Any light we'd had today slipped away so gradually that one almost didn't notice it becoming dark. Time I think to call it an early night.
