The Last Day of School Holidays

I'm not sure how I feel about the boy going back to school.

I do love spending time with him but I have to say it will be nice to have a bit of my own time...there are so many things I want to catch up on.

He and I had a quiet day at home...after he had a few hours face timing P in Scotland to play MTG we watched some swash buckling Muskateer action.

He made his own lunch (his mum has been teaching how to cook) and then we settled in for an afternoon of drawing and painting.

I bought him a book a while back about drawing Manga characters...since then he has been doing some absolutely fabulous stuff .....his imagination is boundless..it usually leans toward the beastie type crazy things.
He didn't want to do a painting today but decided to paint the sculpture he made  from air drying clay the other day instead.

It's gonna be so quiet tomorrow.
