Spring Pruning

Took this for my youngest brother, stuck in hospital, of vines, pruned and unpruned, as I know he'll be interested. Decided, fairly spontaneously, to risk a trip to Reguengos for netting wire and a far larger choice of groceries. Felt like an adventure! All along the side of the road, folk were pruning their vines.

Gratefuls:
- an outing!
- meeting other expats in the supermarket (the Portuguese were all having their non negotiable midday meal, so it's a good time to go)
- a new book from my friend, Jan, thanks, HD!
