Remote Ukulele Jam
Tonight was the first Winchester Uke Jam of 2021. Pre- Covid it was always a very sociable evening with about 80 people and their ukes attending. Since Covid it's gone on-line. However, there's still a good turnout; tonight there was an international flavour with over 58 people logged in, including folk from Canada, Portugal and Denmark, and some Scottish songs as a nod to Burns Night. A good time was had by all.
Earlier, my Mother got her first Covid vaccination. I am so grateful and amazed by how quickly the vaccines have been developed and are being rolled out.
