Last of the ....

Did a couple of hours of snow blowing simply to make life a lot easier and safer once the thaw sets in tonight.It snowed throughout, so I could have continued all day but the few centimetres are not important. I did try clearing one path that hasn't been touched for a good week but nochance. It was probably only 30cm high but so heavily packed the wheels simply turned without moving forward.

The evening walk was horrendous - the track to the forest was unpassable for cars with the continuing strong gale winds, so ended up doing same as yesterday. Snow was horizontal - outward the left ear froze, homeward the right ear. At the end saw couple of lads with a tyre and snowboard enjoying the last slide they are likely to have. The snow was turning to sleet at this point. Oh, how I wish the grandchildren were home-schooling with me!
