Mummy - we have to take a photo

The boys are clearly conditioned to having so many pictures taken of them - them both popped out from the trees they were hiding behind because we needed to have a picture taken!

School work is a bit challenging this week.  The youngest is fighting most work (but does ok when he finally gets engaged with it), the eldest is doing really well, but occasionally has funny little moments - we spent 10 minutes counting out counters to show 12 and 13 to work out which number was the greater - even though I know that he knows it...

Called it a day after maths (we only got half way through) and went off to the woods instead.  Probably teaching them all kinds of things about quitting when it gets tough, but probably best to end on a good note, not a bad one.

Today I'm grateful for:
Children who crawl into my bed in the middle of the night for a cuddle, I'll miss it when they stop doing it
The lovely couple who have the flower stall at the market, who give the boys a chocolate - a cunning bit of marketing to get me to buy flowers each week that works well!
Getting my assignment in early, there are frantic messages going around this evening from follow course mates who are struggling with word-counts and final edits (it's due tomorrow).
