Paris Day Six

First on the agenda today was lunch at the Tuileries gardens which sit between the Champs Elysees and the Louvre (and therefore making for a lovely little spot to relax). A short walk away is the Musée D'Orsay where we braved the ridiculous queue to have a peek inside. I'm not museum fan in general but I did admire the way the museum was cleverly created from a converted train station.

The main event today however was always going to be the Lido, and we weren't disappointed. It was incredible.

We were seated smack bang in the middle of the back row with a brilliant view of the entire venue. As we sipped on champagne the Lido photographer snapped quite possibly the best picture ever taken of us which was a lovely touch (and a great money spinner for them at 20 euros a photo). The show itself was a non-stop dancing, boobies, guy with twirly things, guy with removable head, guy with ropes, ice-skating girl, more boobies, more dancing (and then even more boobies), musical extravaganza.

"The last three or four songs, when their boobs came out, I stopped noticing them", proclaimed Larissa.

"Yeah, erm, me too", I replied.
