Through the microscope.
After a lovely trip out to Oceanlab on Monday (laden with brownies and Super-Gs) it was back to the grind in Zoology. Today I started back onto PCRing but also took on a whole new venture of species identification.
After procuring myself a (working) microscope I set about trying to distinguish Scopelocheirus schellenberg and Hirondellea dubia. Under the dutiful instruction of Niki I feel I accomplished the task. For at least one depth station anyway. Only several more pots to go...
