Lamb in a pan

Lamb in a pan. I think there might be a rhyme in there somewhere.

Given that we are not able to go out and do very much during this lockdown, my photos have become a way of documenting a life which, for many of us that can work remotely, has meant a much more time spend in our own homes.  Given the expense of buying a house maybe having to spend so much time in them is a good thing. As a result of having to stay-in, many of our old routines have changed.

I’ve noted on another picture that my weekly shopping routine is entirely different from before the lockdowns began.  One result is that we have a roast dinner almost every Sunday,  Given that we can stretch a roast out to make three meals over the week for us both, they tend to be remarkably good value and and easy way to have two meals part-prepared for the week ahead,

This week was a slow roast lamb shoulder. Yesterday was a roast dinner.  Later in the week we will have a re-heated roast. Today, some of the remaining lamb is a stir-fry.  So, into the pan it goes.
