Cocktail

On Monday my picture was of paella. I noted that there are a lot of pictures of food since lockdown began.  But when I was making the list for that entry I realised there are a lot glasses of alcohol.

There’s wine in Mexican week, Friday night wine, winter evening wine and New Year cocktails.  And, on my Instagram feed, there’s wine on movie night.

I miss socialising and going to the pub after work.   These days, once I week, I have a drink with a colleague as a video-based replacement for the pub. Tonight, we’re having Zoom drinks with friends.  PY bought pre-mixed Cosmopolitans and sent a bottle to some of the people we’re talking to tonight. It’ll be like buying a round in a bar - although I suspect if we total it up, it’ll be a lot cheaper.
