Dear oh Deer

Snow returned to Braunschweig in quite a big way, with a good couple of inches falling yesterday. I overslept a bit but then headed out with a shopping bag and the camera to take in a long walk via the supermarket. 

In the woods near me there is a small herd of (captive) deer.. I've tried a few times to photograph them, but normally they do a good job of blending into the earthy tones of the forest. With the carpet of snow they stood out nicely today.
