Intricacies of ice

Another beautiful day after a frosty night. While out for a walk I met a couple of friends and we had a great chat, catching up with village news from the last few months. There were a number of frozen puddles along the roadside and this one really took my fancy with the way the ice had created different patterns as it froze.
