Busy workers

After 9 months of bare walls, we decided to hang up some pictures today, many of which have been tucked away since Jakarta. Mama and Papa did the hanging while Rosie and I fetched tools and gave our opinions on placement. It took a few hours but we had reggae blaring and had a lovely time hanging out and revisiting old memories through all the photos and paintings.

Supper tonight was a sweet potato curry made by Papa with some onion bhajis as an appetiser. He's a great cook, especially with big-pot items (curries, soups, stews, etc). Although we have a separate dining room, we've spent most of winter eating in the kitchen, as it's a lot cosier from all the cooking heat!
