Big Garden Birdwatch

This is as far as the birdwatch went, two of my Royal Crown Derby paperweights. Easily recognised is the blue tit on the right, less obvious, and certainly not to scale, is the goldcrest on the left.

For some odd reason I had one of those restless nights, perfectly warm and comfortable but tossing and turning, so the morning was delayed, morphed into lunch and Miss Flum came round shortly afterwards.
We also had a front-garden visit from the Young Flums - wonderful to see them, especially the Flumlet, but as the weather produced that fine snow it was too unpleasant to stay out longer.

It was not worth counting the live blue tits, robins and dunnocks that came to feed, we just admired them and continued our conversation.
