It’s the Big Garden Bird Watch this weekend in the UK, and we along with thousands of others have joined in.

Not a great range of species at all, it’s a bit quiet on the bird front at present. Apart that is from our resident gang of house sparrows.

The great tit made only a fleeting appearance.

Last year 472,758 people took part in the survey (we didn’t do it then. I suspect this years number, during a lockdown, will be significantly higher)
