Concrete Plant
The view from the car as I waited for J’s return. We had driven to the local stadium so she could have her first vaccination, It was all apparently very well organised. She was worried about the numbers of people who might be there, but it was OK, and did not take long.
A bit of a milestone, and a good one, on the first day of the new month.
Extra - a walk around our local golf course. Shortly after taking this shot we headed towards a group of trees, and the path on the other side. A bird shot into the air and with rapid wing beats flew between two adjoining houses and quickly out of sight. Kestrel - no, colours all wrong. Sparrowhawk - no, wing shape and colours all wrong. And then I realised the lovely russet colour and burst of speed must mean - woodcock. Over recent years on the odd occasion I’ve thought I’ve seen one at dusk, but not quite believed it.
