The final throes

These tulips have been up an down (literally) over the past two weeks but today marks the last day of being indoors.. Aren't they spectacular when they behave like this.  Sculptural and contorted and dramatic as they cast their petals to the ground and expose their seedheads.  Fab!

Quiet sunday.. sunshiney morning but after a heavy frost.  It didn't warm up much and by the time my groceries arrived it was threatening to snow once more.. brr.. 
Glad we now have all the wood in from the shed so the house is well stocked. I think we will order one more load to see us to the spring. 

Pottery Throwdown tonight.. wonder if there will be more tears :)
