Some things just still work

This lamp has been with us for so many years, we used to use it with it kids. Now it sits on the mantle waiting.

Every once in a while there’s is a big storm that will roll through here. It will blow out a line breaker or a transformer near the house and then the power can be it for quite a time.

That’s when this lamp earns it’s keep. We get it down and light it up and it gives us light until the power comes back on.

Such a basic trustworthy tool that stands the test of time.
