Christmas came late

Exciting mail came today!

A Christmas gift came from our son and his wife and daughter. It came in the form of a book of their family, highlighting the star, our beautiful little granddaughter.

We weren’t able to spend much time with them because of the virus, but this sure is a great surprise. We’ve already looked at it lots.

It reminds us that our family is growing up without us around. That is a struggle. But gifts like these sure help the heart.
