Stretch

Back Blip

Friday was a day of note-reading and report-writing. Didn't leave myself much time for a walk, but I needed to stretch my legs, so just headed down onto the Canal. Instead of my usual circuit, though, I continued over the lock bridge and walked into Allandale, crossing back onto the Canal towpath at the end of the village. Took a few photos of the lock gates and of a fisherman (extra) but this female goosander is my pick of the day as she, too, decided a wee stretch and flap of the wings was in order just as I was about to take her photograph.
