WHO WHAT WHY?

I went to sit down at my computer keyboard and saw THIS!

It gave me a fright!

I now wish I had got out my proper camera and taken better photos of it but I didn't want it to suddenly disappear and me not find it again.  I don't even know how fast they can move!

I've realised I need to clean my computer keyboard!  My left hand usually covers the area you can see in the photo. A camera, even a mobile camera, picks up things I just didn't see!



The mystery is - where did it come from?  I thought it might have come from a potted plant but my nearest ones are over 2 metres away on a table.  To get from that table to my computer desk - how would it get to the height of the table?  I'm sure it can't fly!

I put it outside among plants.  I'm told some people keep them as pets - but I already have foxes and badgers to feed and now frogs have appeared in the pond and I already have frogspawn. A stick insect is just one too many!  I just hope it survives outside in the cold.
