Tiny Tuesday: Nuthatch

A trip back to Stantonbury failed to produce a shot of the buzzard, but I did just about manage to get this shot of nuthatch.  There was also a tree creeper but the little devil hopped round to the other side of the trunk so I didn't get a satisfactory one of him.

There was only the one, so no multiples but it was small and the best shot I took all day :-)

We had two or three hours of really quite reasonable weather this morning, and the birds were loving it.  There seemed to be bird song everywhere.  Sadly this afternoon we have had two to three hours of rain like stair rods and the already wet ground is going to be seriously wet tomorrow.
