Rush hour

I've been out!!! All the way to London.  It's almost stranger being in London than at home, it really brings the whole situation into a crashing reality.  At home it feels a bit cocooned against the rest of the world.

This was Kings Cross at lunch-time today.

Hated leaving the boys, forgot my computer as it was being used for a lesson by the eldest; the husband called to tell me to come home and collect it after I'd set off - nearly missed the train as a result.  I think the husband has found the two home schooling lessons he did hard work - he described it as an 'insight'.

Today I'm grateful for:
Not having to go out into the 'real world' very often - although it's felt like a real treat to do so - I'm happy at home right now
End in sight for the latest assignment, I'm not very happy with it, but I've re-written it twice and just can't get it to flow in the right way
Home-time - I'll be very happy to walk in the front door and collapse into bed tonight.
