Rebirth

Just before Christmas this potted lemon tree got frozen as I forgot to bring it in the house from the porch. So I cut all the dead limbs off and stuck it behind the couch. Watered it when I would remember.

Yesterday when I was going to dump some water I saw new growth on every limb! So I added plant food to the water and moved it to the mud room where it would get morning sun.

Sometimes bad circumstances happen before good can be enjoyed. So glad I did not throw it away.
