Hyacinth Carnegie

A rainy morning so I decided to start repotting my house plants while most of them are fairly dormant and looking rather underwhelming. However, in one corner of the kitchen these hyacinths are blooming beautifully, filling the air with their  scent. Although it sometimes seems  a chore to plant the bulbs in the autumn and to look after them through the winter, the rewards in February are always worth it.
