Secret Squirrel

Both slept well.......I got up around 8.30 left hub in bed, still feeling pretty grotty :-/ Had my fruit & yogurt, did a few household chores, hub wasnt interested in any breakfast. Cleaned the hob, put the extractor panels in the dishwasher, gave them a much needed treat!

Made a dozen banana & date muffins, using a recipe Id not tried before.....didnt like them one bit, straight in the bin!! :-(

Took todays blip from the kitchen window, noticed Sammy here hopping around on the lawn initially, got my camera, then couldnt find him......until the bright sunshine lit him up perfectly, hiding in our back border!!

Checked on hub, awake, sat up watching PMQ's! His request was a bacon sandwich and a coffee please. No sooner said than done....and polished off :-) Said he was feeling better than yesterday. He got up and came downstairs just before 1pm. Made myself. a bit of lunch, fried eggs on toasted crumpets.

My click n collect slot was 2-3pm, minus 4 items which I asked daughter to pick up whilst she was shopping. Then to the Post Office to return a dress to M&S, kept 2 pairs of pants with a 2" smaller waist for hub, 2 jumpers and a much needed new winter dressing gown for moi ;-) Then on to chemist to collect hubs regular prescription, one item to follow:-/ collected our Costas then got a call from hub saying could I call at daughters as I was out to pick up our bits of groceries, so did that too, before going home, coffee was still hot, just ;-)

Finally sat down with my coffee to watch the latter half of Tipping Point, first proper sit down of the day, before putitng all the shopping away lol!

Dinner tonight was a mixture, hub didnt want a lot, cheese and onion omelette was his choice. I had a pre cooked frozen dinner, not what I thought, turned out to be liver & onions, mash & green beans......it was ok though. Hub had apple pie and custard after his half hearted attempt at his omelette!

Just a little while ago he said he felt hungry, so has had a toasted currant teacake and a cup of coffee......not too bad overall today.
I, on the other hand, have got to stop eating!!!

Hoping hub will feel ok tomorrow as we are booked in for our covid jabs!

I stood on the doorstep at 6pm tonight, with all our neighbours, to pay our respects to Sir Tom, hub stood in the front window & did the same.

Footy on the tv at the mo, hubs enjoying watching Brentford.

Hope you are all keeping safe and well.......one day closer!
