Abstract...

...for AbstractThursday, and thanks to Ingeborg for hosting! 
It's not quite 1:00 and we've got a few flurries starting to fall. My weather app (for what it's worth) says heavy snow starting around 3:00, so we'll see. Tom's birthday is today, so I went this morning & picked up a couple of pieces of his favorite cake. It's a 4 layer vanilla cake with strawberry filling in between, & it's nice that we don't have to buy the whole thing, as the two of us have no need for that much of it. The girls plan on stopping by a little later, so it'll be great to have some time with them. :)
