Tiny books...

...that aren't really books at all. My dear friend gave them to me many years ago--they're made out of wood & painted to look like books. The smallest measures about an inch and a half....the largest about 4 inches. One of them is red, so this is my entry for TinyTuesday, and thanks to Mindful_life for hosting this month.  We had powerful winds during the night, and I heard on the news there were 9 foot waves at the Lakefront early this morning, so Tom & I decided to go downtown and take a look. It was still pretty windy & cold, but (unfortunately for me) they weren't 9 feet high anymore though there were plenty of waves coming in. There was a guy from one of the TV stations there with a drone in the air. I asked him if he was taking pictures with it, and he was quite anti-social!! Grunted out some response I couldn't understand then turned his back on me. Well, I know when I'm not wanted around, so I started heading toward the beach and he yells "Hey! I've got the drone flying there and I'm taking pictures", so I turned around and smiled and said "Hey! Me too"! and off I went. Serves him right for being nasty, and who knows, I might make the news! Haha! I've put two pictures of the Lake into my extras in case you'd like to see the (non 9ft.) waves. It's Tom's birthday today & the girls are coming over this evening for dinner & cake.  Mae's picking out the cupcakes so I can only imagine how much frosting they'll have and how colorful they'll be!  :)))
