Neighbourhood Watch
Geordie in his favourite position looking out the window. This week, however, he is maintaining a close watch on the workmen laying cable in the street. He is taking it very seriously. They are strangers, after all. And none has given him a biscuit.
A cold wet and windy day here again so we set off to Elie and walked in the woods. It was very quiet today and we had a fairly long walk. Geordie had a trailing lead so he could do what he wanted and I can just step on the lead if he won’t come close enough.
Once home and warm I read for a while until I felt lazy. So, I tidied and hoovered and dusted, then I pinned a huge cork board to the kitchen wall and covered it with snaps of my grandchums and Geordie. Looks good. Been meaning to do it for a while.
Had a good chat with Debs on phone. I was really happy to hear she is getting her vaccine on Saturday.
Life feels as though it has been paused, but it certainly hasn’t. When I hear of people passing away and it is not as a result of Covid I realise that bad things are still happening besides this damn virus.
