Thanks for all the love for yesterday's image. I'm happy to say this bit of flood plain is a much loved part of a country park and is not under threat from house builders! 

I should have gone out early when there was a bit of sunshine, but I dilly-dallied, trying to reply to a bunch of emails, and by the time I was ready to head out, the sky had clouded over. I only ventured out into the garden briefly, where I found this speckled hellebore flower. At least I managed to photograph something before the heavy rain arrived. This weather is really becoming very tedious...
