Thursday: BC Produce

We were supposed to be away on holiday for two weeks, this week and next, but, yet again, had to cancel.  We’d booked it a little while ago when things had eased up here recently but, with the recent increase in numbers, changed our plans.  Psychologically, however, I was geared up for a bit of a break and, having found January tough, I kept a couple of days leave and we’ve headed to Victoria for a mini-break.

I used to come very frequently, at least a couple of times a month, but haven’t been for nearly a year, K. for longer.  It’s really nice to be back - it’s such a great little town with lots of choice for places to go.  And new microbreweries since we were last here - tonight we tried the nanobrewery, ‘Whistle Buoy’.

We had dinner at ‘Little Yunnan’ restaurant - we’re staying in Chinatown so it was very handy.  It was hotpot style so definitely a good one for clearing the tubes.
