Friday: Chinatown

We are really enjoying our neighbourhood - it’s the first time we’ve stayed in Chinatown.  We’ve really been enjoying walking up and down the side streets, discovering new places.  

A must for any visit to Victoria is a trip to Russell Books (as well as Munro Books).  Russell Books has moved to the site opposite from its old location.  At the old location, where the shelves stretched for miles and miles, you had the sense that they had any book you were looking for.  It doesn’t quite feel like that now - it’s a bit smaller and doesn’t quite have the immense range it used to have (although it’s still a very good bookshop).  

Food wise, lunch was phô, dinner was an excellent Indian meal and drinks at Herald Street Brewing.
