Kingfisher

I went for a pre breakfast walk and then later met up with Pat for a proper walk. I’m on different challenges on Fitbit and I am too flippin’ competitive for my own good. I’ve walked and walked all day and so far done over twenty five thousand steps.

Boxoffrogs joined us as we were down in Winton and we went on the hunt for the kingfisher. Three times....three!!!!!...I saw it. It is so beautiful. We saw it twice on a branch and three times in flight. I’m sure there were at least two of them. This is not a good pic and I think I will take the plunge and get a camera now. I’m fed up of not having one and the challenge to capture a great pic of the kingfisher is too big not to do.

Now the question is do I let V beat me on Fitbit or do I have one last spurt and go out for a walk round the Green?
