Sparrow Hawk

Sparrows who came looking for breakfast here in our front garden, got a shock when they were confronted by this Sparrowhawk sat on top of the fatball feeder.

The hawk sat there on top of the feeder looking rather bemused, there were at least thirty Sparrows hiding in the bushes no more than six feet away from him, couldn't see them but he could certainly hear them.

As far as i'm aware, the Sparrowhawk left without getting his breakfast.
