Lovely Weather for Gulls

The day started cold and misty though by the time I went out for my daily walk it had improved somewhat, with even a glimpse of blue sky in places.  We went to Shottery  Fields, it was surprisingly quiet, very few dog walkers.  A flock of gulls was pecking around in the grass but one had spotted the mini lakes that form over the old plague pits at one end of the fields.  This one seemed very happy in the water.
