New Hens

Happy to say that I've finally got round to getting my hen numbers back up. So four new girls arrived on Tuesday night, they've spent two nights inside getting used to their new house and then this morning they got freedom. They are still young and hopefully will start laying soon but for now they have lots and lots of space and also for the first time in their lives, they are seeing the sky. The woman I get them from keeps them in good conditions but they are within a big hut and so don't get the freedom they will here. Funny how they instinctively know what green things they can and can't eat.
