The long way home

Another simply glorious day today. Little G much recovered, and very ready for a return to pre-school - he practically bounced the whole way there! Littler G had declared her intentions early and announced decisively at lunch time that she would walk. So she did. We stopped for a little chat (and a sneaky play - her, not me!) at pre-school and then meandered our way home, taking a diversion across the grass behind the village hall and out onto the edge of the fields. It was lovely. Would have been nice to go a bit further, but thought that might be pushing my luck, so turned back before the protests started. I'm looking forward to doing that - or similar - often again as the days get warmer.

The only problem with such spontaneity is that I had neglected to take my proper camera out with me, so back to blipping from the phone.

I've said it before and will no doubt say it again - it's not a spectacular view, but it's home, and I like it.
