When Did That Happen?

The highlight of the day, walking own to the local store to collect the Sunday paper.  It was walking there I noticed that the bus stops were no longer in use.  Strange I thought, I hadn't heard about this.

Checking the internet I was perplexed not to be able to find any information about the suspension of the service that goes through our estate.  You think you can find everything on the internet!  Having said that I've rarely seen any buses with more than the odd one or two passengers, but it still seems strange. I thought the local transport executives were maintaining services with subsidies from Government to allow key workers to still be able to go to work.  It was certainly something I was told by a bus company owner I recently had dealings with after an outbreak in his company.

After that it was some eBaying, cleaning the oven (all praise pyrolytic interiors) then sitting down to watch the rugby and finally a traditional Sunday dinner  Such are the exciting times of lockdown.
