Heart aflame

Today's theme for Mono Monday, set by Carolina, is 'romance', in honour of St. Valentine. As the only non-technical mono challenge this month, I wanted to have a crack at it.

After scraping around for a while, and inspired by fellow-blippers, I remembered this heart-shaped candle I had stashed away. I think it does the job quite well. Although it's already on a black background, it does look even better in large.

And I don't think I was going to find many signs of romance outside so I didn't venture any further than putting the candle outside on the edge of the raised bed, just because, well, snow, such as it was (see extra). Also in mono at the suggestion of Carolina.
