Black Out

Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

Big news - there was a major power cut this evening*. It was very eerie - no streetlights and only dancing torchlight in the houses opposite.

The Mini Princesses seemed to be genuinely surprised by how many things need electricity to work and one of them asked if we would still be able to use the toilet!

We played cards by torchlight. It lasted about 45 minutes - just long enough to still feel quite exciting without becoming annoying.
